Welcome
This website is designed to teach you about Brain Computer Interfaces and how one student has engaged with this important work. From his dorm room, he contributes to a real‑life issue through the power of entrepreneurship.
However, this is just one project he is working on. His interests lie in the possibilities of startups; he wants to create something that solves a human need. Data shows that an increasingly large percent of young people are drawn to startup culture. But it’s not easy. Forbes indicates that 90% of startups will fail, with only a 10% follow‑through rate.
- Among U.S. adults, those aged 18–24 have the highest rate of entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurial intention.
- Specifically: 24% of 18–24‑year‑olds are engaged in some form of entrepreneurial activity — higher than any other age group.
- The discontinuation (failure/exit) rate for businesses started by 18–24‑year‑olds is 15%, the highest among all age groups.
These stats tell us that youth are taking the lead. With nearly a quarter of 18–24‑year‑olds engaged in entrepreneurship, young people are positioning themselves not just as future business founders but as current business creators. Young entrepreneurs are also more likely than older generations to embed sustainability and social impact into their business models, which is exactly what Antony aims to do. Even with the odds against him, his passion and resilience will be crucial as he continues to pursue these opportunities.
